Sara is a junior at Highlands High School, this is her second year on the staff of journalism, and she loves the writing aspect of the class. She went to elementary school at St. Pius X in Edgewood, Kentucky, and moved to Moyer Elementary halfway through the fifth grade. She was really big into sports in elementary school playing softball, volleyball, basketball, and archery. Unfortunately, when she reached middle school she was rejected from most of the school teams, and it was hard for her to find somewhere where she fit in. When she reached her sophomore year of high school she found journalism. She came back to journalism for a second year and can’t wait to be here next year as well.
