After a touchdown was scored, Jack Price (12) found his coach to celebrate that touchdown. “We scored and I saw Jeff and wanted him to just hit my vibe,” Price said.
Highlands secured a 45–7 victory over Ashland last Friday, Nov. 14. Offensively, the Birds posted 194 rushing yards and 194 passing yards.
By the end of the game, Highlands had scored six touchdowns in total.
Defensively, Highlands allowed just 69 rushing yards and 116 passing yards. Chase Jacob (11) led the defense with five tackles, while Jaxon Rodrick (11) and Max Merz (12) each recorded three tackles.
In Week 3 of the playoffs, Highlands will host at David Cecil Memorial Stadium. The Birds will face the Corbin Redhounds on November 21, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
