The Highlands Bluebirds carried a 35-7 win, gaining a spot in the second round of state playoffs, against the Greenup County Musketeers.
Offensively, Highlands had 126 rushing yards, allowing 68, and 254 passing yards, allowing 94.
Quarterback Rio Litmer (12) completed 8 of 12 pass attempts for 207 yards, throwing 4 touchdown passes.
On the ground, Litmer led the rushing attempts with 4 carries for 47 yards, while Colton Kremer (10) added 40 yards on 4 attempts.
In the receiving game, Bryce Armstrong (10) led with 3 receptions for 90 yards. John Feldbruegge (11) contributed 1 reception for 69 yards.
The team finished with 5 receiving touchdowns and 5 extra points scored.
On defense, Cooper Benke (11) had 2 solo tackles, and Jace Wiloughby (11) had 1 solo tackle.
Feldbruegge, Michael Tincher (11), and Brady Carnohan (12) each had one interception.
Highlands will be at home again this week, facing Ashland Blazer High School this Friday, Nov. 14, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
