The hip-hop routine was exciting and energetic, with a lot of applause from the crowd. Georgia Lozier (9) was featured in the front and center for a portion of the dance. There were several powerful kip-ups in this routine as well.
The Pom routine was very clean, with Layla Hurtt (9) doing an aerial towards the end of the routine. In the front, towards the left of the gym, was Lexi Torrano (10), who did very precise fouettes.
The Varsity dance team also performed both a pom and a hip hop routine. The team members include Lavin Stepner (9), Sammy Gabennesch (9), Ellery Browning (10), Drew Ellison (10), Abby Gabennesch (11), Cate Fischer (11), Rose Ewald (11), Sarah Steiden (11), Adalynne Shaw (11), Anne Kuhnhein (12), Brianna Horner (12), Abby Rowland (12), Elise Hellmann (12), Saryn Stepner (12), and Meredith Kleier (12).
The Pom routine was so entertaining, having a whole team turning section featuring Drew Ellison (10) and Elise Hellmann (12) in the front row. Anne Kuhnhein (12) and Cate Fischer (11) were doing clean front walkovers in the center of the gym during one portion of the routine. As well as Elise Hellmann (12) having a long leg hold in the middle of one of the formations.
The hip-hop routine was very fierce, with handstand flips done by everyone on the team with their partner. During the headsprings section, Adalynne Shaw (11) was in the front right side of the gym with a strong landing.
Overall, the dance teams showed their skills and prepared for their upcoming competitions.
