Highlands dominated Johnson Central with a 6–0 shutout victory on Saturday, October 25, to advance to the final 4.
Offensively, the birds were doing great, finding the back of the net six times. Highlands improved their record to 14-9-2 on the season, having scored 63 goals and allowed just 25 overall.
Leading the scoring, Reese Wilkens (12) added two goals, while Gabby Simon (11), Maddy Lickert (11), Ally Lickert (9), and Loralie Manning (11) each added one.
Lickert also recorded an assist and Hope Darnell (10) contributed one as well. Kaylee Mills (12) led the plays with three assists.
Defensively, the birds were pretty low with Bailee Class (10) only earning the shutout with one save and 0 goals allowed.
Highlands will look to carry this momentum into their next matchup against Central Hardin on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 4:30 p.m.
