Highlands lost to Campbell County on December 12th, 2023 61-54.
Going into this game, Highlands was the underdog against the Camels after they won two out of their last three games and only lost by three in their single loss.
But in Highland’s previous game, they lost 101-73 to St Xavier. With this recent loss, they are eager to get a win vs the rival Camels.
During the first quarter, they got off to a slow start and gave the Camels a mountain of a lead, however late in the second quarter they got some turnovers, knocked down some threes, and ended up taking the lead.
After halftime, the Camels caught up and kept it close late in the fourth but sadly turnovers and missed shots helped the Camels win 61-54 over Highlands.
Their next game is on December 15th vs Oldham County at home.
