During the Highlands boys soccer game on August 24, 2023, Highlands defeated Campbell County Camels 3-1 in a hot match.
The weather was dreadful so the referees concluded that every 20 minutes they would give the players a water break.
The game was super intense with the score being 0-0 going into halftime. Head Coach Suli Kayed gave a speech during halftime to the players and said “We are a better team we should be winning.”
After halftime, Campbell Country scored within the first five minutes.
Highlands took over after getting 3 goals in the last period 1 from Senior Chad Gesenhues and Junior Harrison Gamble with the other being a header from Senior Adarsh Khullar.
Highland’s next game is on August 26, 2023, versus Henry Clay at 1:00.
