HHS Varsity Boys Basketball suffers heartbreaking loss against Lloyd in regional tournament

On Saturday, March 5, the HHS Basketball Birds had a heartbreaking loss against Lloyd Memorial High School. The final score was 64-75. 

“The game was a very close one. I was very proud of the boys and the season we had. Our seniors have done so much for the team and we will miss them,” said Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Kevin Listerman.

In the second half, the Birds were up by 3. 

With only being down by a few points, as the third quarter began Highlands stepped up their mental game, knowing that they were going to try to bring home that last win before state.

The fourth quarter, the Juggernauts pulled away, with the final being 64-75.
