Merary Valdez
Valdez is a freshman at Highlands High School. Merary is one who is shy in the beginning but over time she’ll ease into talking. She’s always loved going to school and seeing her friends and teachers. One thing she absolutely loves is her family and pets. Merary decided to join journalism this year because it combines all three of her favorite things which are reading, writing, and telling stories. In the future, she would like to pursue telling stories to the world by writing books.
