On March 5, 2025, the Highlands Girls’ Basketball team fell to Notre Dame Academy with a final score of 52-43. The game was tight until the 3rd quarter, with the score going in between tied and one or the other ahead. The team played an amazing offensive game, doing whatever it took to win a point. Sadly, the Highlands Girls basketball season is officially over after this loss.
Kaylee Mills (11) shoots a basket for the team while being guarded by NDA players. The players have to make sure they have the ball out of reach of the other team's players when shooting the ball. “Trying to get the ball into the basket, but if it doesn’t go in, redirecting my mind for a rebound,” Mills said.
