Highlands High School’s 2025 Prom was a dream to remember. The night was filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable memories for many students. Highlands arrived at the Newport Aquarium in style, ready to dance the night away and explore the wonders of the place.
The theme of Prom was “Once Upon A Dream” and the aquarium sparkled with decor. There was a high-energy atmosphere as everyone hit the dance floor to enjoy a night of music, laughter, and fun.
One of the most exciting moments of the night was the Prom court. Everyone was highly anticipating the results of who would become king and queen of prom 2025. Lillian Foley and Ben Pfetzer were crowned, receiving cheers and applause from the crowd.
“It was pretty cool being crowned as king to know people actually voted for me. People like me and that’s pretty cool,” Pfetzer said.
After Prom, the dream did not stop. Students headed to the high school for the incredible “Prom to Dawn”, an after-party. This was a fun and safe way for students to come together until 4 am.
The night became an adventure around the school with games, snacks, and themed activities that kept the energy from prom going. A crowd favorite was the activities on the football field. On the field, students could enjoy hanging out at the bouncy houses, soccer stations, basketball games and scooters.
“Prom to Dawn was a lot more fun this year. I loved hanging out with all my friends on the field and the games were great,” Willis said.
There was something for everyone from Prom to Prom to Dawn. The fun continued in every room with golf, pickleball, and nine square. Some students competed in game tournaments and photo booths that captured sweet moments with friends. From start to finish, the night was a perfect blend of dressing up and fun.
This year’s Prom and Prom to Dawn brought the classes of 2025 and 2026 together for a dream they’ll never forget.
