The Hilltopper

Steve Lang
Stephen is a senior at Highlands High School and is in his fourth year in the Journalism department. Steve’s previous roles in the department was: Staff in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 school years and Design Editor in the 2017-18 school year and this year he holds the position of Managing Editor of the Yearbook.  As Managing Editor of the Yearbook Steve’s job is to oversee the development of the yearbook. Steve is also an active participant in Highlands Theater, mainly working with the Sound department and is the co-founder of the Secret Sound Service. Outside of school, Steve enjoys collecting records and CDs and being with his friends. Steve is also interested in the practice of Sound Design and History and he hopes to pursue either of those fields as a career. He would like to thank his brothers for his interest in history and 1993’s smash hit “Jurassic Park” for his interest in Sound. He would like to give a big shout out to Diana Mcghee for giving him the opportunity to be a bigger participant in the Journalism Department. #SaveKate
