NFL teams: What is going on

The NFL is a league full of surprises. With upsets, injuries, trades, and players performance. One of the best parts of the NFL is the Super Bowl/playoffs. For some teams that’s a high possibility every year, but for some that’s a far-fetched goal every year.

For some teams having a losing record seems to be a yearly occurrence. Many fans are upset with their teams and wish things would change. Who does that come down to? The owners, the coaches, or the players?

Most fans want to blame the players but in some cases, it may even be the coaches. The Pittsburgh Steelers, for instance, have an all-around stacked lineup, however a little shaky with their running back room and pieces of their defense. The biggest finger to point in that organization, hands-down, needs to be toward the Offensive Coordinator, Matt Canada. The Steelers were able to beat the Baltimore Ravens but the offense struggled in the process. They only averaged 3.8 yards per play, aside from the big touchdown pass from Kenny Pickett to George Pickens, with their own players taking it upon themselves to make something happen, having zero to little trust in their offensive coordinator.

A team like the Cincinnati Bengals got off to a slow start with not fully 100% ready-to-go quarterback  Joe Burrow to blame as well as the best WR core in the league not playing to their full potential. The Bengals seem to have turned it around though after displaying a glimpse of their former abilities against the Arizona Cardinals, winning 34-20. Joe Burrow, after listening to the critics, threw 36-46 for 317 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Jamaar Chase brought in 15 receptions, for 192 yards, and three touchdowns.

Some teams this season have their fan bases genuinely worried. Teams like the Bears, Panthers, Broncos, and the Giants. The New York Giants last year was a Super Bowl-contending team, who fell short in the Divisional round of the playoffs last year and have since started their season 1-4. They have struggled with RB Saquon Barkley and his injury, their WR core struggling and their defense letting up an average of 138.0 rushing yards a game.

The Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos are arguably the two biggest worries in the NFL right now. Both teams being 1-4, the Bronco’s only win coming from their win against the Bears. The Bear’s only win comes from their win against The Commanders. The Bears fanbase put all the blame on Justin Fields who had a shaky start but has seemed to turn it around with a combined 617 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception. The Broncos on the other hand have struggled with many people to blame. Coach Sean Payton has not impressed anyone so far with his role as the new head coach. QB Russell Wilson has seemed to struggle recently as well, and a mediocre WR core with injuries all around.
