Highlands varsity faced Notre Dame on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026 for their senior night at home. The Birds finished the matchup with a 42–45 loss.
Offensively, Highlands made ten 2-point shots and five 3-pointers. The Birds also hit seven of their 13 free throws, scoring 42 points as a team.
Kaylee Mills (12) led Highlands with 15 points, including three made 3-pointers. Solu Nzekwu (8) added eight points, while Maddy Lickert (11) brought Highlands’ five points.
Katie Bucher (12) scored four points, and Bailey Richey (9) and Avery Barber (12) each finished the game with three points. Ally Lickert (9) and Gabby Neufarth (10) each scored two points.
Highlands varsity will look ahead to their next matchup against Ryle High School at home on Wednesday, Feb. 4 with a tip off at 7:30 p.m.
