The beloved rock legend Stevie Nicks and key part of the band “Fleetwood Mac” is going on tour this year, and is making a stop at Cincinnati. This is a highly anticipated tour by many fans as it is a solo headlining tour for the iconic music star.
Her solo music career started in 1981 with the release of “Bella Donna,” and she has been quite a popular artist over the years. This will be her 17th time going on tour by herself, and her latest tour was as a special guest for Billy Joel.
Most fans know her for her part in “Fleetwood Mac,” but the band has been disbanded since 1976. Hoping to get a glimpse of what the band looked like in past decades, many ticket holders are hopeful of hearing some of the popular songs from the rock band Nicks was previously in.
“I’m hoping to get tickets, and if I do, I would love to hear ‘Dreams’ or ‘Silver Springs’ from her past band days,” Kate Class (9) said.
Nick’s tour will start on August 12 and go on until October 15. While this is a short tour, 13 cities will be covered throughout these two months. Some of these include Boston, Cincinnati, Tampa, and Phoenix.
As fans impatiently wait for their concert date to come up, some prepare by listening to songs that may be heard throughout the show. Some of Nick’s most popular songs are “Landslide” and “The Edge of Seventeen.” Both can be expected to make an appearance at atleast one show this tour.
“My absolute favorite song from her is ‘Landslide,’ it’s so meaningful to me,” Caroline Weber (10) said.
With 60 years of experience in making music, this concert will be one for music lovers to enjoy. Make sure to catch the iconic Stevie Nicks’ tour when she heads to Cincinnati on August 23.
