The Highlands Girls Team lost 5-0 vs. East Central (St. Leon), IN on August 26, 2023.
Going into the Senior night game they were very outmatched against an excellent team with last season losing 6-1.
In the first half, the team was keeping up with the score being 1-0 East Central going into halftime at this point the win looked very possible.
But in the second half, East Central put up two more goals, and by that time the coach made the decision to pull the starters.
After that, they scored two more goals making the score 5-0 East Central at the end of the game.
The girl’s next game is tonight versus Bishop Brossart at 8 p.m.
