​​Donald J. Trump, born June 14, 1946, is an American politician, media personality, and businessman, who has made a name for himself over the past decades was arrested last Tuesday. He has established a chain of 3 towers called the “Trump Towers” that sit at approximately 461 feet high, with 45 floors each. Trump even served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021. He is so successful his net worth is officially 2.5 billion dollars, but his fame, power, and wealth do not make him invincible. Trump was charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records and arrested. Falsifying business records is a felony in New York when there is an “intent to defraud” that includes an intent to commit another crime or to cover up a separate crime. For example, paying off judges/lawyers/bailiffs/etc. to get away with crimes. This can be seen as holding oneself above the law.
