Varsity boys’ soccer beats Bishop Brossart at their latest game

The boys varsity soccer team beat Bishop Brossart 2-0. Sophomore Ethan Lang (10) scores the first goal of the night for the birds in the first half. Brossart was a fairly competitive team and gave the birds a little challenge. Luis Mcvicker (11) scores the second goal in the second half of the game. The bluebirds had possession for most of the game with both Lang and Mcvicker having a great night. The Varsity boys had an impressive show out of the student section with the girls varsity team showing up and supporting the boys.

Hope Darnell, Copy Editor

Hope Darnell is a sophomore at Highlands High School. She is going into her second year in publications and is a copy editor for the program. Outside of journalism, she enjoys playing soccer, running track, and hanging out with her friends and family. She is also on the high school varsity soccer and track team. Her goals before and after graduation are to get both academic and athletic scholarships to college.

Zac Crawford, Staff

Zac Crawford is a sophomore at Highlands High School. It is his second year in publications, and he hopes to improve his photography skills this year. He plays baseball for Highlands and his travel ball team.
