Sophomore Jenna Richey warms up before her round at the driving range.

On Tuesday, September 27, our own Jenna Richey tied for 68th place in the Sub State Golf Tournament at Heritage Hills Golf Club.

Richey worked hard to get into this tournament. Playing hard, practicing hard, and working hard, she stayed strong throughout the whole tournament.

To get into this tournament, Richey placed in the Top 10 in the Regional Tournament. Getting into this tournament helped her realize things she can improve on by next year.

“I think that I learned lots of things that I can work on for next season,” Richey said.

Next season Richey has lots of hopes for what she can accomplish next season.

Richey said, “I would like to make it back to the State tournament and improve on my round.”
