Over the last 20 years, streaming has taken over the music industry. Digital music revenues comprised 89% of the U.S. music industry’s revenue in 2022. Streaming services like Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music made up 84% of the total industry revenue.
Because streaming has taken over people’s main source of music consumption, fewer people have been attending live shows.
Since the end of 2023, many artists have announced tours in the Cincinnati area for the 2024 concert season.

Travis Scott’s Utopia Tour is coming to Columbus, OH on Jan. 24, and Louisville, KY on Feb. 5.
Playboi Carti’s Opium Tour will be performed on Feb. 4 in Cleveland OH.
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, Drake and J. Cole will be performing at the Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center OH.
Olivia Rodrigo will be performing on Mar. 22 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus OH.
Lastly, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing on Jul. 5 at Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati OH.
