LMGO: Luke Muller Golf Outing history and candidate reveal
Once a year a ton of people come together for the Luke Muller Golf Outing in support of two candidates with cancer or a disability of some sort. History of the gold outing: “In 2007, Luke Muller was diagnosed with lymphoma. The idea of LMGO was conceived when a good friend of Luke’s parents, Tim Price, was sitting in the hospital with Luke. Seeing Luke in his hospital bed with an uncertain future, brought many emotions to the surface including love for the little guy, but also fear. While leaving the hospital and walking through the halls wanting to do something to help, the idea of a golf outing in support of the Muller family hit. After the crisis with Luke passed, Tim and the Muller family knew that the annual outing needed to continue and be a blessing for other families in need. That is when it became the LMGO and After Party. Today you will find many friends and family members working together as a team to pull off the largest golf outing in Northern Kentucky, with an online auction and after-party. The LMGO team’s main goal is to create a fun-filled day of love and support that will hopefully allow the families to forget their struggles as they are surrounded by a celebration created by their friends, families, and even people they don’t know out of love for them.”
This year one of the candidates is Thomas Burns, who is a Senior at Covington Catholic High School, and the other candidate is to be chosen later.
