Information about Graduation 2019
With the school year coming to an end, graduation is coming closer and closer. Here is all the information you need to know:
When – Sunday, May 26th at 2 pm – students start arriving at 1:15 pm to line up in the HHS Gym
Where – Plan A is to have the graduation ceremony on the football field, which has not happened for almost 16 years. Plan B, if the weather does not comply, the ceremony will be held in the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Tickets – If the ceremony is on the football field, graduates will have eight tickets available. If the ceremony is moved to the PAC, each student will have three tickets, any other attendees will be able to watch from the media center or the black box theater.
Dress – All graduates will wear the traditional cap, gown, and tassel for the ceremony, blue for males and white for females. Students who have been awarded honor pins, honor cords and honor tassels for their academic and extracurricular clubs may also wear those items.
Highlands will be sad to see the class of 2019 leave the nest, but wishes the best for their futures.
