The Bluebirds controlled possession for most of the 9th Region quarterfinals match on Oct. 13, 2025, keeping constant pressure on the Tigers’ back line.
Nick Wilson (12) scored the game’s only goal early in the first half, giving Highlands the edge they needed to advance.
Defensively, the Bluebirds locked down Beechwood’s attack, earning their fifth straight shutout behind a disciplined back line and strong play from the goalkeeper.
With the win, Highlands improved to 10-5-1 on the season and moved on to the regional semifinals.
The Highlands boys soccer team will face Conner this Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 at Holmes with a kickoff set to 7:30 p.m.
