On February 26, 2025 Highlands boys varsity basketball destroyed Newport Central Catholic with a final score of 71-53. Highlands was ahead for most of the game with only being behind for the first 5 minutes. The birds’ defense was the best it’s been all season and their shooting was on point. Highlands also qualified for the regional tournament starting on Sunday at NKU. Highlands will play again Friday at 7 against Newport High School.
