On September 28, Highlands fell to Cooper 24-21 in a close game.

Quarterback Rio Litmer (11) completed 16 of 23 pass attempts, throwing for 3 touchdowns.
Jack White (12) led the rushing game with 74 yards on 16 carries, with Litmer adding 47 yards on 14 carries.
Adam Surrey (12) was the top receiver, hauling in 5 catches for 101 yards, followed by Jackson Arnold (12) with 4 receptions for 75 yards.
Surrey, Gabe Williams (10), and Tayden Lorenzen (10) each caught a touchdown pass, while Logan Nickelman (12) converted 3 extra points.
