The Girls Varsity Soccer team played Ryle on Wednesday, August 28, at NKU (Northern Kentucky University). The team won with a score of 3-0. Neither team scored in the first half, but once the second half started, Highlands scored 3 goals. The goals were scored by Kate Fausz (12) assisted by Franny Smith (11), Gabby Simon (10) off Kaylee Mills (11), and Macy Hargis (11) off Mills. Overall, this was a great game for the girl’s team.

Luke Deegan is a Sophomore at Highlands High School and transferred from Campbell County Middle where he went to Cline Elementary for grades K-5. This is his second year in the journalism program. Luke does a lot of sports photography and enjoys taking photos.
