The boys played Simon Kenton on March 7th. Highlands varsity won against Simon Kenton with the score being 4-1. There were two individuals and two teams of two. The individual players were sophomore Daniel Beasy and senior Eli Back. The doubles teams included sophomores Josh DeSylva and Jackson Bowman, junior Ryder Perme, and senior Owen Lecky.

Natalie Hinegardner, Staff
Natalie is a junior at Highlands High School and has been enrolled in Fort Thomas Independent Schools since kindergarten at Ruth Moyer Elementary. She loves writing stories even though she struggles with finding the right words sometimes. She loves taking pictures at sporting events and loves capturing the perfect moment. She is very opinionated with something she is passionate about when she is comfortable with the people around her. Natalie is a hard worker when it comes to not only school but also sports. She is very proud of her sports and always wants to succeed in them. She needs to work on handling her time better because sometimes she pushes things back in order to put her sport first. She loves her family and friends so much and although school and sports take up a lot of time, she always tries to find time to hang out with the people she loves most.
Ava Muzumdar, Copy Editor
Ava Muzumdar is a junior at Highlands High School and has been enrolled in Fort Thomas Independent Schools since kindergarten at Moyer Elementary. She plays Varsity volleyball and tennis at Highlands. Muzumdar is the Vice President of Community Service for FCCLA. She enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, and watching sports. This is her second year in the Journalism program and she is a copy editor. Muzumdar loves to write articles about sports for the program, but she also takes photos at any opportunity.
Cydni Martin, Social Media Editor
Cyd Martin is a Junior at Highlands High School. She attended Ruth Moyer Elementry for elementary school after moving to Fort Thomas in 4th grade. She is the HHS Journalism Programs social media editor, the 2024 - 2025 1st Vice President for Highlands FCCLA, and the VP of Peer Education for Region 7 FCCLA. She currently works at Fort Thomas Coffee and is very excited to continue her journey in the journalism program here at HHS.
