Bengals pregame: Week 15 against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Coming off of a morale-boosting victory against the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals go down to Tampa Bay Florida to face the GOAT, Tom Brady.

Despite being one of the bests quarterbacks in the league for the past 20 years or so, Brady is coming off a terrible game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Brady had 253 yards, 2 interceptions, and one touchdown. His running game only picked up 69 yards. Chris Godwin caught 5 balls for 54 yards and Mike Evans caught 4 balls for 44 yards.

The Buccaneers’ defense was picked apart by Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy who had only 185 yards but two touchdowns. Christian McCaffery had 119 yards on 14 carries.

Florida’s defense has been struggling all year. The Bengals however played mediocre against the Browns, a win in which they extended their 5-game winning streak.

Joe Burrow passed for 239 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception. The bulk of the receptions came from Ja’Marr Chase, he had 10 receptions for 119 yards.

Joe Mixon had a productive 96 yards on 14 carries. Unfortunately for the Bengals, both Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins went down on Sunday. Zac Taylor has yet to reveal an estimated time for either return.

This game should be a test of the Bengals’ defense and running game. Even without 2 of their receivers, Joe Burrow should be able to pass for above 200 yards.
