BREAKING NEWS: Highlands High School volleyball program names Jim Delong new head coach

From the 2015 season, Jim Delong coaches his Wyoming Cowboys team to victory.

Jim Delong joins the Highlands High School Volleyball program after eight years at Wyoming volleyball. Delong served as one of the board directors for the Northern Kentucky Junior Volleyball (NKJV) program in 2020-2021. He takes over for Michelle Woods, who resigned prior to the end of the 2022 season. 

Delong led the Wyoming volleyball team to victory. During the eight-year tenure, Delong has been there, he has led the team to 174 wins and only 33 losses.  The program won 8 Cincinnati Hills League (CHL) championships under Delong. 

Via Twitter, Delong made the official announcement: 

“Thank you Wyoming volleyball for 8 great years!! I can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful memories and great wins. However, it is time for me to move on! Looking forward to my new adventure at Highlands volleyball,” said Delong.
