On Saturday, May 21, the Highlands Volleyball team hosted their annual Beefcake Classic tournament where the volleyball team players split up and coach the boys from their grades.
“Beefcake is a tournament that helps raise money for the volleyball team and The Harvesters shoe project. While raising money, it’s fun for the boys and coaches to play in front of the community,” said Freshman Volleyball Player Ella Cox.
It started off with the freshman facing off against the juniors and seniors against the sophomores.
The freshman beat the juniors in only 2 sets, while the sophomore versus senior game went into 5 sets. The seniors won the first set and the sophomores won the second. They went back and forth until the fifth set after that.
