On Monday, February 7, the Highlands High School girls bowling team lost in the state tournament against Cooper High School. Their total was 736 and Coopers’ total was 916.

The game started with a match to see what the seating was going to be. To figure out your seating, each team bowls one round and the team with the highest score gets seat 1, the second-highest gets seat 2, and so on. The HHS Ladybirds got seat 13.

“The whole event was really nice, and we have a really great team so we had fun.” Senior Jade Rehberger says. “Bowling wise though, we didn’t do great.”

“My goal for this game was to bowl really well and get as many points as I can for my team,” said Freshman Rylee Clore.

The Graduating Seniors on the team are Madison Clore, Jade Rehberger, Chloe Bramble, Macy Hedenberg, Carrissa Armstrong, and Helen Halbauer.
