Girls soccer ladybirds lose in a devastating game against East Central High School
On September 9, 2021, the ladybirds faced a difficult task when playing against the East Central High School. It was a tough challenge, however, the girls did not let it stop them.
The game had started, the Birds began shuffling the ball back and forth, and suddenly they lose it. A member of the other team had taken the ball from the ladybirds.
The Birds were giving it their all on the field, however, East Central was powering through, even more, scoring their first point of the game.
The Birds weren’t too happy about the score. So they upped their defense game and focused on not letting the other team score.
Eventually, the East Central Girls Soccer team had pushed through and scored again, making the score 2-0.
Highlands kept their defense up the rest of the set.
Then, at the beginning of the second half, Highlands played hard, not allowing East Central to score but East Central was defending just as hard. This defense carried Highlands all the way through their junior varsity game.
The birds trying their hardest to keep East Central from scoring anything else, however East Central ruled victorious over the ladybirds.
The next girl’s soccer game is today, September 11, at 6 P.M. at Tower Park against Eastern Brown High School.
