On April 13th, 2023, President Joe Biden appointed Lady Gaga as the co-chair of his Committee of the Arts and Humanities. Lady Gaga is a 37-year-old music artist and actor, who originally appeared beside President Biden during his inauguration to sing the national anthem. The PCAH is a committee of people whose sole purpose is to advise the president on cultural policy to enhance federal support for the arts. Lady Gaga will share a co-lead alongside Oscar winner Bruce Cohan. Mother Monster confirmed her appointment on Twitter after retweeting the official Presidents Committee of the Arts and Humanities tweet stating, “Thank You @POTUS @PCAHgov.” Gaga had just finished shooting “Joker: Folie à Deux” which is set to release in 2024. Moving forward, Lady Gaga continues to stand by President Biden as an official member of his Committee of the Arts and Humanities.
