On August 15th Highlands High School held an honors night for the senior class of 20206, along with their parents. The sports walking were football, cheer, band, golf, color guard, and cross country. This is to celebrate the student-athletes who will be graduating in 2026 to commemorate their high school career and the parents who have helped them fight challenges along the way.
Ella Peabody’s (12) dad, Ryan Peabody said, “I am very proud of Ella’s academics and her golf achievements, also seeing the way she pushes herself to become better at what she does.”
The parents are excited to see what big things their kids can do outside of High School. Parents will always be their kids number one, encouraging them to never give up and to hold their heads high.
“My biggest hope for Mason in the future is happiness. I hope he is able to do what he loves in life and rest will fall into place in his next chapter.” Mason Howard’s (12) mom, Monica Howard said.
Supporting our seniors can make a huge difference in them becoming successful. Just by cheering them on in sports or in clubs they will be happy to see that people have their backs.
