On Oct. 24, 2025, Highlands students and staff came together to amp up for homecoming weekend. During sixth period, the bluebirds gathered in the gymnasium to play games and build school spirit. The games that the students played helped to grow connections between them as they cheered on their peers who represented their grade level. Kevin Listerman announced and celebrated students by recognizing them for their achievements, such as being nominated for student of the month, and how well they had dressed during spirit week. The band and girls’ soccer team were recognized as they prepared for the weekend ahead of them, as they both went on to compete in important competitions for the school. As the pep rally was coming to a close, Listerman announced the grade level selected staff royalty as the students cheered for their winners.
