
Blooket and Gimkit; the website games that teachers host to help make learning fun and competitive. Every now and then, students would play Blooket or Gimkit, depending on what game the teacher would host.
Every student here knows what both games are. But what do they prefer: Blooket or Gimkit? Information about the diverse opinions of students has been gathered to show how much people enjoy both games.
Students reading this should know by now what games Blooket and Gimkit have. But for those who do not, they are website games where teachers can host lobbies and pick which game they want to host to make learning more enjoyable.
From the poll conducted on students who chose to enter, several results have been gathered. It was revealed that 47.8% of students prefer Gimkit, 43.5% of students prefer Blooket, and 8.7% of students prefer both.
The most popular game for Blooket was Gold Quest, with Crypto Hack following close behind. While for Gimkit, the results were tied for Don’t Look Down and Capture the Flag being the two most popular games, with Fishtopia following behind them.
Now, a couple of students and teachers were interviewed on this topic and their preferences for either games.
“I liked the games, they’re fun. I like playing Don’t Look Down. I just like them more than Blooket,” Ethan Adhikary (10) said.
Other students prefer Blooket compared to Gimkit.
“In 6th grade, we only played Blooket, and there was a mode called Battle Royale, and I liked the competition that has been integrated into the game,” Devin Pieree (9) said.
However, teachers don’t seem to have a specific preference for Blooket and Gimkit
“They’re great ways to get students to practice the things we’re learning in my Spanish Classes, and it helps them remember the material,” Spanish teacher Emily Haffey said.
