On Wednesday, Oct. 8, clubs, teams, and homecoming court members took part in the homecoming parade. Celebrating the coming of homecoming, those involved marched from the post office to the high school. This was Highland’s second official homecoming parade.
People in the parade included the Highlands football team, the marching band, the swim team, the Red Cross club, the students running for homecoming court, and many more. As they paraded down the road, many people threw candy at bystanders.
Overall, the parade was a fun time for everyone involved, and an exciting experience for those who got to be a part.
