One Direction is one of the biggest boy bands in the world, even after their break-up. In their six-year career, One Direction came out with five albums. Four of those five were recorded with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik. However, after Malik left the band, the fifth and final album didn’t include him.

Their first album, ‘Up All Night’ came out in 2011 under the management of Simon Cowell. With 15 songs on the album counting songs such as, ‘Everything About You,’ ‘Save You Tonight,’ and ‘Stand Up’.

Grayson’s favorite song off this album is ‘Up All Night.’ This song is her favorite because of its fun, upbeat tempo, it makes ‘Up All Night’ a good song to jam to.

For Jade, her favorite song off the album is ‘More Than This.’ The song stands out to Jade due to the song’s sad words and tempo but beautiful meaning.

Their next album, ‘Take Me Home’ came out in 2012. This was the second full album for the band. This studio album contains songs such as, ‘Little Things,’ ‘Heart Attack’, and ‘Summer Love.’ This is a very upbeat album with romantic tones and moments. 

Grayson’s favorite song off this album is ‘They Don’t Know About Us.’ She loves this song because it’s upbeat just like ‘Up All Night’ and it’s a song that will never go out of style. 

Jade’s favorite song off this album is ‘She’s Not Afraid.’ Jade loves this song due to the optimistic and upbeat tune of the song with the fun lyrics. The song can improve anyone’s mood and is a good song to listen to when trying to be happier.

One Direction’s next album is ‘Midnight Memories’ which came out in 2013. Compared to the other albums, ‘Midnight Memories’ is more the tone of pop-rock rather than the usual pop-styled songs. This album includes songs such as ‘Why Don’t We Go There?,’ ‘Story of My Life,’ and ‘Diana.’

Grayson’s favorite song off this album is ‘You And I.’  She enjoys this song because although it’s more on the plain side of a song, it has a beautiful meaning that Grayson loves.

Jade’s favorite song off this album is ‘Little Black Dress.’ ‘Little Black Dress’ is one of the types of songs that’s fun to blast in the car and dance around to. Jade loves this song due to how excited it makes her feel.

Their next album is ‘Four’ which came out in 2014. This tracklist was the last with Zayn Malik. This album has 16 songs and was produced by their record label ‘Syco, Columbia.’

Grayson’s favorite song off this album is ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go. ‘She loves this song because it is fun, upbeat, and has a beautiful meaning. This song makes her feel happy and sad at the same time.

Jade’s favorite song off this album is ‘Fireproof.’ Jade enjoys this album because of the upbeat tracklist it has. This song has sad lyrics, but a happy beat to it, making it Jade’s favorite.

Their next album is ‘Made in the A.M.,’ which came out in 2015. This was the first album without Malik in the band. With only Horan, Tomlinson, Styles, and Payne left in the group, the boys rocked the world with this album.

Grayson’s favorite song off this album is ‘Olivia.’ She loves this song because it’s slower and more emotional. She also loves this song because the message is about how this song is saying how the things in life that you wouldn’t usually do, you’ll do for this one person.

Jade’s favorite song off this album is ‘Love You Goodbye.’ Jade loves this song due to the sad lyrics and beat of the song. ‘Love You Goodbye’ is one of the saddest songs on the album. It makes the album stick together due to it being one of the last songs on the album.

All of the albums from One Direction have a different vibe and mood that they give off. This makes the band different from other bands. Most of the albums are more on the pop side with a little rock and punk mixed in. This boy band is also different from different boy bands because their music still rocks even after they went their separate ways to focus on their own music careers. 

Even after One Direction broke up, their songs still rock the world and influence fans to this day.
