As promised, the Highlands Class of 2026 has earned exemptions for their Math and English midterms due to scoring higher than the Class of 2025. However, this is only in contention for the students with 6 or fewer absences along with an 80% in both quarters.
Parker Greene (11) expressed her excitement, saying, “I believe that being able to skip a midterm is a great opportunity to encourage students to try harder, I know I did and I’m really happy that my grade was able to score high enough to be able to skip a midterm.”
