Within the first 15 minutes of the game, Senior Caymon Stevie, with an assist from Junior Max Farris, scored the first and only goal of the game.

“The goal was team-oriented.” explained Stevie, “Though our team played well, we gave up some silly fouls that gave Cov Cath some opportunities. In the future, we hope to minimize our mistakes.”

This win was a triumph for the Birds, as the Colonels are a major rival of the soccer team and Highlands community as a whole.

Farris said, “Beating Cov Cath is one of the best feelings. As a team, we work daily to complete our goals, and beating Cov Cath is one of the main ones. Being a part of beating them for the fourth time in a row, and assisting that goal, is amazing.”
